Andrew brings a versatile approach to a variety of client challenges, including developing and executing strategy, business model innovation, reducing complexity, merger integration, and executive alignment. He is often called upon in situations where success requires groups to come together and address challenging issues that span company, functional, and affinity group boundaries. His sharp focus on results helps diverse groups of stakeholders effectively engage and align on clear courses of action.

For twenty years, Andrew has collaborated with leaders at distinguished organizations worldwide, including PepsiCo, Merck, Con Edison, Providence Health & Services, ING, PhRMA, and the World Bank. He is a leader of Schaffer’s Healthcare practice and works extensively with pharmaceutical companies and integrated health networks.

Prior to his time at Schaffer Consulting, Andrew helped lead business integration for Bowne Enterprise Solutions and spent several years consulting as part of Accenture’s strategic change practice.

Andrew is currently a visiting lecturer at Columbia University, instructing graduate students on what it takes to successfully execute strategy and achieve results in complex environments. He holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with concentrations in Management & Organizations, Strategy, and Marketing. He received his BA in Political Science from Duke University.
