Nadim Matta selected as a Top Global Thinker by Foreign Policy

We are delighted to share the news that Schaffer Consulting's Senior Partner, Nadim Matta, was selected by Foreign Policy magazine as one of its 100 Top Global Thinkers for 2012.

The award will be presented to Nadim and other distinguished honorees including Warren Buffett, Bill and Melinda Gates, Hillary Clinton, Sheryl Sandberg, Christine Lagarde, and George Soros, on Thursday, November 29th, at a special gala in Washington, D.C.

Nadim was singled out for his role as President of the Rapid Results Institute (RRI), an NGO founded and supported by Schaffer Consulting to apply the firm's methodologies to the most critical issues faced by developing nations. Under his leadership, the RRI is transforming the way that local leaders and people tackle their most vexing challenges. Read about some of the RRI's extraordinary accomplishments.

"We have made leaps and bounds addressing pressing social initiatives - securing clean drinking water, food fortification, basic health services, education, and agricultural innovation - in Africa, the Middle East, and elsewhere. It is encouraging to receive this recognition. Now we need to take this work even deeper in the areas most in need," said Nadim.

In addition, Nadim and the work of the RRI were highlighted in an article in Foreign Policy by New York Times writer Tina Rosenberg entitled The Best Small Ideas of 2012.

Founded in 1960, Schaffer Consulting has continued its long tradition of support for non-profit organizations and public priorities, such as education and maternal health, while also helping leading companies accomplish their most pressing business objectives.
